Description:
IKEA is seeking a diligent Warehouse Co-worker to join our Richmond team. This role is central to our operations, involving diverse tasks such as shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory management. You’ll thrive in this fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient handling and safety of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle shipping, picking, receiving, and storage duties.
• Unload, manage, and secure inbound and outbound merchandise.
• Verify received items and manage documentation.
• Identify and remove damaged merchandise.
• Strategically store and stage pallets in designated areas.
• Maintain stringent safety and security standards.
• Uphold and promote IKEA’s culture of teamwork and diversity.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older due to IKEA safety standards.
• Ability to stand, lift, and walk for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment is advantageous.
