Taiwan’s Executive Yuan has approved a NT$500 million plan to support local specialty industries over four years. The initiative aims to promote regional brands, enhance industry capacity, and attract international tourism.

Taiwan has surpassed 2023's visitor numbers, reaching 6.49 million foreign arrivals in 2024. However, tourism remains far below pre-pandemic levels, with challenges from mainland China and natural disasters impacting recovery.
